Description

Job Title: Event/Concession Stand Manager

Reports To: Director of Athletics

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Complete oversight and operation of concession stand.

  • Responsible for ensuring that there are at least 2 signatures on each Gate Deposit sheet and Concession Deposit Sheet.

  • Responsible for set-up of athletic facility (unlock restrooms, locker rooms, gym, gates, area for officials, etc.)

  • Effective communicator to employees and management.

  • Maintain complete and accurate inventories.

  • Responsible for setup/stocking and supervise breakdown of stand.

  • Supervises the production of all menu items.

  • Services our fans when necessary.

  • Oversees all cleanliness and sanitation of stand.

  • Trains and supervises all stand employees.

  • Recommends all inventory/ order forms accurately.

  • Supervises and assists employees in the setup of concession stand.

  • Supervises and assists all employees in the preparation of all menu items, consistency being of the utmost importance.

  • Able to provide help and guidance when needed.

  • Effective communicator to employees and management.

  • Responsible for lock down of athletic facility (unlock restrooms, locker rooms, gym, gates, etc.)

  • Ensure all individuals have left the property prior to the end of shift.

Work Environment:

Work at a very fast pace, able to do multiple tasks at once, and stay cool headed and organized. Must be a quick thinker and problem solver.

  • Supervises and directs customer service during game and maintains positive fan experience.

  • Supervises all cleanup and proper closing of the concession stand.

Qualifications:

  • Possess leadership ability, a pleasant personality and appearance, be reliable and self sufficient.

  • Must be organized and a problem solver.

Job Title: Concession Cashier

Reports To: Director of Athletics; Concession Stand Manager

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Service our fans in a fast, and professional manner.

  • Maintain an accurate cash drawer, and a clean and organized work area.

  • Report to work on time.

  • Maintain a well stocked work area.

  • Clean and restock your work area before completing your shift.

Qualifications

  • Must be friendly, personable, and well groomed.

  • Cash register experience preferred, but not necessary.

  • Fast food experience preferred, but not necessary.

  • Be able to work at a fast pace, smile, and be professional at all times.

  • Able to get along with your co-workers.

  • Must be reliable and available to work all games.

Very fast paced, must handle multiple orders and duties at one time and stay even tempered.

Job Title: Concession Worker/Food Preparation

Reports To: Director of Athletics; Concession Stand Manager

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Demonstrates a positive attitude at all times to fans and co-workers.

  • Report to work on time in a complete fully cleaned uniform.

  • Keep work area clean and sanitized at all times.

  • Keep all foods refrigerated when not being used.

  • Keep inventory stocked.

  • Help remove all trash from concession stand and restocks at end of shift.

Qualifications

  • Must be friendly, personable, and well groomed.

  • Able to fill out order requisition list and have the ability to count accurately.

  • Be able to work at a fast pace, smile, and be professional at all times.

Reports To: Concession Stand Manager

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Maintains proper inventory levels of all foods in holding bins, monitoring waste at all times.

  • Cooking of all foods to proper temperature and ensuring consistency of product.

  • Keep work area clean and sanitized at all times.

  • Keep all foods refrigerated when not being used.

  • Wash and sanitize all grills at end of shift.

  • Help remove all trash from concession stand.

Qualifications:

  • Must be available to work a majority of games both day, and night, as well as weekends.

  • Capable of working under stress and at a very fast pace.

  • Friendly, personable, team player and well groomed.

  • Highly organized and be able to delegate.

Work Environment:

  • Extremely hectic and fast paced.

  • Able to do multiple tasks at one time.

Job Title: Gate Worker/Ticket Seller

Reports To: Director of Athletics; Event Manager

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Service our fans in a fast, and professional manner.

  • Maintain an accurate cash drawer, and a clean and organized work area.

  • Report to work on time.

  • Maintains proper financial records (deposit sheet) with two signatures (gate worker/ticket taker).

  • Help remove all trash from area at end of shift.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Service our fans in a fast, and professional manner.

  • Maintains proper financial records (deposit sheet) with two signatures (gate worker/ticket taker).

  • Maintains accurate ticket numbers.

  • Communicate with Security/Director of Athletics when necessary.

  • Help remove all trash from area at end of shift.

  • Assist public with general information about the Athletic facility

  • Maintain a safe atmosphere within the seating area

Qualifications:

  • Must be available to work a majority of games both day, and night, as well as weekends.

  • Capable of working under stress and at a very fast pace.

  • Friendly, personable, team player and well groomed.

  • Highly organized and be able to communicate with co-workers.

Work Environment:

  • Extremely hectic and fast paced.

  • Manages audio/music which is appropriate

  • Will be responsible for following PA script provided by Director of Athletics

Qualifications

  • Must be able to project voice clearly

  • Must be able to operate PA system

  • Must be able to follow PA script

  • Must be able to work at a fast pace and be professional at all times

  • Must be energetic and able to get along with your co-workers

  • Must be reliable and available to work all games.

Work Environment

Job Title: Clock Operator/Scoreboard

Reports To: Director of Athletics

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Service our fans in a fast, and professional manner.

  • Maintain an accurate cash drawer, and a clean and organized work area.

  • Report to work on time 30 minutes prior to the game.

  • Maintain accurate score/scoreboard display/clock.

  • Serve as an extension of the officiating crew for that particular game.

Qualifications

  • Must be highly organized and attentive to game details/rosters/etc.

  • Must be able to keep up with game speed.

  • Must be able to function scoreboard remote accurately.

  • Must be able to remain neutral and unbiased.

  • Must be able to follow NMAA "Compete with Class" initiative.

  • Must be reliable and available to work all games.

Job Title: Game Security

Reports To: Director of Athletics

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for all in attendance (players, coaches, officials, spectators, etc.)

  • Maintain crowd control

  • Ensure that teams, coaches, spectators, officials, enter and exit athletic facility in a safe and timely fashion.

  • Assist in ensuring that the athletic facility is safe and secure.

  • Ensure safety of all game personnel (gate workers, ticket takers, coaches, PA Announcer, concession workers, Administrator on Duty, etc.)

  • Ensure safety of parking lot and that all vehicles have appropriate permits to park (when necessary)

  • Communicate with Security/Director of Athletics when necessary.

  • Ensure all individuals have left the property prior to the end of shift.

Qualifications:

  • Applicants must be willing to take initiative as well as be a team player and be willing to work in all areas of the athletic facility

  • Possess good communication skills and be a team player.

  • Possess leadership ability, a pleasant personality and appearance, be reliable and self sufficient.

  • Must become familiar with students and spectators who frequent athletic events.

  • Applicant must be available to work most of the home games. Nights and weekends required.

Job Title: Facility Cleanup

Reports To: Director of Athletics

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Clean all areas (field/court, restrooms, lobby, etc) of stadium/gym to get the facility ready for the next event.

  • Report to work on time.

  • Must be friendly, personable, and well groomed.

  • Be able to work at a fast pace, smile, and be professional at all times.

  • Must be reliable, flexible and available to work day and night time hours.

Work Environment

Possibility of working late night or early morning following athletic events. Most work will be done independently.
