The Game Designer is the primary point of contact for implementing game data across all projects. While this role focuses heavily on scripting, the Game Designer will also be responsible for directing the workload of the Associate Game Designer. The Game Designer will also be responsible for training any new hires who will be using our game data tools. Since this role will be contributing at critical points in the product lifecycle, the Game Designer will focus on process improvement and communication across disciplines with Engineering, Production, and Art.
What You Will Do
Using Unity, ensure correct population of critical game data.
Review your own work as well the work of Associate Game Designers.
Train new hires on how to use the game data tools.
Communicate any development issues to the team.
Help create new processes for parsing and implementing data.
Coordinate with internal studio teams to ensure deliverables stay on track.
What You Will Bring
2 or more years of professional experience.
Working proficiency within the Unity game engine.
Experience with project tracking software (Jira preferred).
A graduate of a game development program is preferred.
