GAM: Associate Logistics Clerk



  • Coordinates the organization's daily logistical operations, including inventory, archive order fulfillment, and reporting.

  • Organizes warehousing for property.

  • Under supervision, performs work that is varied and that may be somewhat difficult in character, but usually involves little responsibility.

  • Fulfills Honeywell capital tasks, such as providing information and participating in monthly meetings concerning reporting to/with Puerto Rico Capital Accountants.

  • Conducting five year physical inventory plan with Capital Accountants.

  • Maintains records of capitalized property and oversight in eQuip for Capital data entry.

  • Creates and submits the annual Physical Inventory Plan deliverable.

  • Performs physical inventory of all Honeywell capital, government and customer accountable property.

  • Maintains appropriate records and prepares reports.

  • Performs the Records Metric Tasks and conducts internal monthly audit of Records database.

  • Coordinates logistics activities with internal/external customers.

  • Provides activity and status reports to management.

  • Provides annual training with a quarterly tag up to the following groups: Custodians & Coordinators, Material Management & After Market Team for training of physical inventory of material & After Market property with updates of results.

  • Also, provides training of physical inventory of sensitive property to program teams as necessary.

  • Supports Bendix King efforts while fellow employee is out of office.

  • Performs all other duties as assigned.



  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • Some experience in Logistics or relevant functions in Integration Supply Chain preferred

  • Military experience or equivalent training in the Logistics/Supply Field is highly desired

  • SAP working knowledge a plus.

  • Familiar with both paper and electronic filing and archiving.

  • Must be able to lift 35 lbs.

  • Engaged in daily problem-solving.

  • Participate in continuous improvements by making suggestions and experiment to improve.

  • Actively participate in daily meeting, understand what is to be accomplished during the shift, and discuss any new related issues with the team.

VIEW JOBS 11/11/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-09T00:00 Sr. Logistics Specialist - Communications Systems Join the industry leader to design the next generation of breakthroughs Performs and oversees maintenance and operations of secure communications systems with direction from the resource manager, program manager, and federal customers from the emergency response Render Safe program. * Coordinate and perform secure communication equipment maintenance and repairs with guidance from federal customers. * Prepare and test all required equipment and consumables for Render Safe communication equipment * Maintain equipment readiness of all deployable equipment by performing scheduled and unplanned maintenance. * Identifies issues, recommends changes, implements changes, measures/documents results and maintains readiness through scheduled and unplanned maintenance of equipment. * Preforms component level repairs on repairable communications and and associated equipment. * Ability to interpret and follow technical instructions, plans, and drawings. * Material handling abilities to include managing objects >35lbs. * Uses hand and power tools as required to accomplish work. * Ship and receive equipment between sites, depot, and manufacturer if necessary. * Determines packaging/storage requirements, packages material and coordinates loading or unloading of items requiring special handling techniques. * Develop resolutions to customer needs through innovative continuous improvement ideas such as new and improved support products or prototype support equipment models. * Maintain 5S organization of the depot and immediate or associated work areas. * Works directly for the Federal customer and coordinates with program and resource manager to maintain equipment in a readiness status in the field. * May provide training in core skill areas to teams and peers and coordinates activities and personnel with the department of function. * Ability to be watched billed and respond in an expedient manner 24 hours a day for defined periods of time. * Perform as a qualified logs/comm responder for the Render Safe program. * Travel up to 40% of work schedule will be required. * Ability to maintain a DOE Security Clearance in good standing. * May perform other duties as required or directed. 10 Handle monthly performance goals 30 Meet Inbound and Outbound Targets 30 Manage ad-hoc activities 25 Develop logistic plans 5 Conduct Audits Must Have: * 4 years of job-related experience * Bachelor's degree in Business or technical discipline * One or more years of experience with communication equipment use and repair. * US citizen in order to obtain DOE Security Clearance.
