  • Responsible for providing a variety of paying and receiving functions for customers in person, via phone, and through the mail, including processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashiers checks, money orders, and cash advances

  • Balances daily transactions and verifies cash totals

  • Performs a broad variety of financial services functions such as opening and closing accounts, renewing certificates, and assisting customers with bookkeeping and checking account problems

  • Answers customer questions regarding Bank services provided and performs a variety of account maintenance duties

  • Actively cross sells Bank services

  • Performs specific assigned side jobs including various clerical and receptionist functions, and assists other tellers with duties as required

  • Serves customers promptly and professionally

  • Maintain awareness of and adhere to Bank's compliance requirements and risk management concepts, expectations, policies and procedures and apply them to daily tasks

  • Other duties as assigned


Office hours are Monday through Friday 9:45am to 7:15pm and Saturday 9:45am to 1:15pm.The expected average hours per week for this part-time position is 20-25. The average number of Saturdays per month is 2.

Minimum Requirements


  • Knowledge of Teller and Customer Service Representative operations and procedures

  • Basic understanding of Bank operations

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Professional appearance, dress, and attitude

  • Strong math skills

  • Deliver consistent, high level of service within our Service Excellence guidelines


Ability to operate related computer applications and business equipment including adding machine, typewriter, copy machine, coin and money counting machines, and telephone.


Minimum high school graduate or equivalent. Additional coursework a plus.

VIEW JOBS 12/4/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-03-04T00:00 RESPONSIBILITIES * Ensure customers are promptly and professionally served and meet branch objectives by effectively cross-selling financial products and services * Provide a wide variety of financial services such as opening and closing various deposit accounts, renewing certificate of deposit accounts, processing loan transactions, initiating credit card applications, assisting customers with account questions and processing general deposit transactions * Complete ongoing product knowledge, financial services and sales-oriented training to sustain broad base of product, service and sales knowledge * Project the bank's professional reputation through knowledgeable, courteous interactions with customers and prompt resolution of requests, inquiries or issues * Protect bank assets by adhering to all processes, policies and procedures related to branch and cash security, negotiable instruments, information security, and Federal, State or Local regulations impacting teller activity * Cross train in various branch operation functions, such as ATM balancing, cash item resolution activity, teller outage reporting, and supplies * Complete periodic in-store communication and promotion activities specific to the office, if applicable * Individually and if applicable, as a manager, participate in identifying, measuring, monitoring, controlling and mitigating departmental and enterprise-wide risks * Maintain an awareness of and adhere to Bank's compliance requirements and risk management concepts, expectations, policies and procedures and apply them to daily tasks * Other duties as assigned To advance to a Teller II, associates may be required to complete certain trainings and/or testing. This position is hourly, non exempt, and full time. A minimum 37.5 hours is required to maintain eligibility for full-time status. Generally the position will require 40 hours per week.
