What is the Opportunity?
To produce high quality strategy, forecasts and trade ideas in G10 FX in accordance with regulatory and legal/compliance requirements.
Job Description
What will you do?
Proactive relationship with sales, trading and clients
Producing high quality strategy on, and forecasts of, currencies
Answer client queries in relation to G10 FX Strategy
Generate G10 FX trade ideas and track live performance
Ability to recommend trading positions to be managed by the G10 FX trading desk
Ability to track live performance of open positions
Generate written reports and presentations G10 FX views
Support achievement of revenue target for the global FX and Macro business
Work to prevent, to detect, and to eliminate the potential for risk and liability to the firm
Proactively identify operational risks/ control deficiencies in the business
Review and comply with Firm Policies applicable to your business activities
Escalate operational risk loss events, control deficiencies and risks that you identify to your line manager and the relevant risk and control functions on a timely basis
Helping to build the FX business in North America as well as supporting the business across the world.
Development of strategy product on existing and new markets will help differentiate RBC, support client relationships and directly generate business

Strong analytical skills
Superior customer service focus and attitude for internal and external clients
Ability to perform under pressure and meet time-sensitive deadlines, sometimes for extended periods of time

Ability to prioritize work and multi-task responsibilities
Self-starter - must be organized and able to work independently
Excellent writing and communication skills

The good-faith expected salary for the above position is $300,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate's experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
