Fy2024-25 Graduate Assistant -Campus Ministry

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assisting the Director and Staff of the Office of Campus Ministry in being a pastoral

presence on Seton Hall's campus.

• Coordinating the recruiting and scheduling of Eucharistic Ministers and Lectors.

• Being present at Sunday evening Masses to ensure that the assigned Eucharistic Ministers

and Lectors are present, as well as arranging for gift bearers and taking up the collection.

• Being present at and coordinating special and occasional liturgies.

• Preparing and sending out by email the Campus Ministry weekly update.

• Being present at Thursday evening Campus Ministry events.

• Acting as the coordinator and facilitator for the Campus Ministry Student Leadership Board.

• Preparing advertising flyers for upcoming Campus Ministry events.

• Assisting with annual events such as the Campus Ministry Christmas party, Crèche

blessings, Super Bowl party, etc.

• Assisting with retreats.

• Other duties as requested by the Director and Staff of Campus Ministry.

Required Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate student enrolled at Seton Hall University.

• Must have a sufficient level of training in Catholic theology and liturgy.

• Must be proficient in Google Suite and other graphic design software.

• Must be available Thursday and Sunday evenings.

• Must live full-time in the Campus Ministry Graduate Assistant Apartment in Boland Hall

provided by SHU Residence Life.
