Job Summary

The Fusion Studio for Entertainment and Engineering (FSEE) is seeking a Social Media Intern who is highly-motivated, self-directed, and creative, with a passion for utilizing social media to develop a brand and to communicate and connect with stakeholders on a regular basis. The FSEE Center's mission is to connect and serve those at the intersection of engineering and technology advances and their use in the entertainment sector. In particular our outreach will focus on connecting with industry practitioners, educators, and students.

Individuals will work fully remote, but must be responsive to contact/requests by email within 24hrs and willing to participate in weekly Center meetings virtually.

Key knowledge, skills and personal attributes include: highly proficient social media user across multiple platforms/channels; ability to create original, professionally written, high-quality content (for all channels); interest in formulating strategies with Directors to build and nurture a new community on an accelerated timeline; explore and leverage SM tools to manage content and their timely release; suggest and create materials for (social media, SEO, content marketing, email, print and digital marketing); strong oral and written communicator; detail oriented; works well independently under pressure and with deadlines; flexible schedule to adjust to changing demands; open to accepting constructive feedback.
