The Specialist, Furniture is responsible for all activities that support small transactional and special order furniture opportunities.

This position will support small projects and will span all activities of supporting the sale (i.e. product selection, product specification, applying appropriate discounting, preparing proposals, order entry, order management, and assist in punch list resolution).

This position will work very closely with the Office Depot General Lines Sellers and will be customer facing to work independently directly with customers to ensure the customer's needs are meet. This position may also support large annuity office products accounts that drive high volume-small furniture transactions.

This position has latitude for independent judgment on product selections, product specification, product pricing within defined guidelines, and is skilled in furniture proficiency.


  • High School diploma or equiv, Bachelors preferred ( AA or BA in Interior Design or Project Management)
  • Minimum 3 years experience in related field

RBs are also trained in cash transactions and may be asked to process these transactions both accurately and efficiently when needed.
