Lamb Funeral Home Inc. in Huntingdon Valley, PA. This is the opportunity to be part of the Dignity Memorial provider network and grow your career in the funeral, cremation and cemetery services business. This position interacts directly with client families during their time of need and is responsible for creating and maintaining a premier level of client family satisfaction. The Funeral Attendant will set-up and assist with viewings, funeral services, memorial services, etc.

  • Performs a variety of tasks during funerals and visitations to assist funeral directors and ensures that services run smoothly as planned

  • Directs calls to appropriate team members

  • Greets and receives client families and/or other persons entering the office for information and assistance

  • Maintains a friendly attitude while offering assistance and guidance to all persons entering the location

  • Assists passengers in and out of limousine with special emphasis and patience given to the handicapped and elderly

  • Assists the Funeral Director in the movement of the casketed deceased and other related paraphernalia in and out of the visitation area, funeral home chapel, church or other place of service

  • Drives the hearse, family limousine or other vehicle in the funeral cortege and/or other funeral related activities

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Applicants must have a flexible schedule, professional appearance, good attitude, and be a team player. The candidate must share in the idea of growing market and maintaining a premier level of customer satisfaction.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Self-starter and team player

  • Compassionate towards others

  • Ability to lift 75lbs+

Schweiger Dermatology Group, a leader in the field of dermatology practice with multiple locations throughout New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania is searching for an experienced Medical Assistant / Scribe to join our Meadowbrook Office in Huntingdon Valley, PA. The ideal candidate will function primarily in the medical assistant space, however, will also function as a medical receptionist a small portion of the time. Previous experience in a dermatology practice is preferred. Medical Scribe/Assistant * Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere to enhance quality of service and care offered to patients and for respective provider(s) * Assist physician in medical, cosmetic and laser procedures * Assist provider in recording prescribed treatments, medications, biopsies, cultures, photos, prescriptions, prior authorization and procedures within established guidelines * Understand provider to patient flow and anticipate provider's next steps to the best of their ability * Prep rooms before and after patients, including checking all equipment at the beginning of each shift to ensure all is in proper working order * Provide pre-care and post-care treatment instructions as needed * Daily scan all retail and cosmetic products and medical supplies and alert Head MA and/or GM of any low level supplies * Perform inventory responsibilities and stocking of supplies and equipment as requested * Attend all in-house training and continued education opportunities Medical Scribe/Receptionist: * Proficiently and efficiently handle incoming phone calls, scheduling-related tasks and online leads in a timely and knowledgeable fashion while creating a positive phone call experience for each caller. * Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere to enhance quality of service and care offered to patients and for respective provider(s) * Understand provider to patient flow and anticipate provider's next steps to the best of their ability * Perform inventory responsibilities and stocking of supplies and equipment as requested * Attend all in-house training and continued education opportunities Qualifications * Dermatology experience strongly preferred * Nationally Certified Medical Assistant preferred * Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems * Must be computer savvy and familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook * Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills * Excellent patient relation and customer services skills * Open availability to work during weekdays and weekends Schweiger Dermatology Group, is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate in its hiring process with applicants, whether internal or external, because of race, creed, color, age, national origin, ancestry, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, genetic information, veteran status, military status, application for military service or any other class per local, state or federal law.
