GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Cultivate and maintain positive relations with the community, patients and potential patients, supporters and potential supporters, and Terry Reilly employees. Plan and implement marketing and communication strategies that advance Terry Reilly's mission and goals, both internal and external to the organization. Lead funds development activities designed to improve the amount and percentage of resources contributed to Terry Reilly from non-federal and non-fee sources, such as foundations and individual contributors. Staff leader to the Terry Reilly Foundation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Development Activities:

  • Research funding opportunities to support Terry Reilly operations and collaborate with organizational leaders to develop fundable concepts that fit both Terry Reilly's needs and funder priorities.

  • Develop relationships with local corporations to cultivate corporate giving opportunities.

  • Prepare applications, including budgets to the extent feasible, for submission to potential funding sources.

  • Promote and facilitate individual giving through a variety of strategies including: solicitations, major donor gifts, planned giving, endowment support and event sponsorship.

  • Organize events and communication strategies to cultivate, engage and recognize donors and supporters.

  • Develop and maintain current messaging material related to development activities.

  • Provides oversight of Terry Reilly donations database.

  • Assures timely production and distribution of thank you letters and follow up reporting requirements.

  • Develop and maintain current messaging materials related to Development activities.

  • Maintain data collection activities related to Development activities.

Marketing/Community Relations Activities:

  • Collaborate with Marketing Manager to develop and implement a marketing and communications plan which provides for current and consistent branding, messaging and marketing both internal and external to the organization.

  • Contribute updates to Terry Reilly intranet and external website to promote and engage others in Terry Reilly operations and activities.

  • Organize corporate events to engage the community in Terry Reilly activities, facilitate collaborative opportunities, and celebrate Terry Reilly operations.

  • Nurture relationships with individuals, businesses and community partners that support Terry Reilly's mission and goals. Provide community education surrounding Terry Reilly programs and services.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Organize corporate events to engage the community in Terry Reilly activities, facilitate collaborative opportunities, and celebrate Terry Reilly operations.

  • Contribute updates to Terry Reilly intranet and external website to promote and engage others in Terry Reilly operations and activities.

  • Collaborate with Marketing Manager to develop and implement a marketing and communications plan which provides for current and consistent branding, messaging and marketing both internal and external to the organization.

  • Bachelor's degree in public health, health education, communications, marketing or another related field or equivalent education, training, and experience.

  • Experience developing and implementing a marketing funds development or communication plan.

  • Strong conceptualization capabilities to introduce new ideas and solutions that will improve methods, procedures, or systems.

  • Grant writing or funds development experience.

  • Knowledge of the health and human services infrastructure and the healthcare marketplace.

  • Must be able to understand and interact respectfully and effectively with diverse cultural and socio-economic populations.

  • Must be able to speak effectively before groups and actively engage the general public in outreach situations. Strong interpersonal and networking skills.

  • Excellent communications skills, both oral and written. Able to resolve differences of opinion, using tact and diplomacy. Excellent customer service skills.

Span of Control / Organizational Relationship / People Management: Job Scope: 1 club This position directly manages the following positions inside the club: Assistant Head Coach (if club size warrants) Personal Trainers Essential Duties & Responsibilities: The FM is responsible for performing the following activities for the club: Staffing and Development [40% of time] Maintain a fully engaged and high performing fitness team that aligns with company values and goals. To achieve this objective, the FM will: Hire develop and manage performance of qualified Personal Trainers Train & develop other staff as needed regarding fitness and supplementation presentations, emphasizing the impact of these on membership retention Conduct weekly (or as-needed) meetings with direct reports to review performance and offer direction, motivation and guidance toward achieving individual and company goals. Offer career growth and advancement opportunities as warranted Manage the Personal Trainer schedule including staying within budgeted non-session hours as submitted to and approved by the CM Mediates club employee relations matters for all club fitness employees Discipline staff under the guidance of your direct supervisor Fitness Management [40% of time] Ensure that all club members have access to a highly trained and professional fitness staff able to provide fitness counseling, training and programs within Crunch standards. The PT Manager is responsible for the successful attainment of fitness and supplement revenue goals. To achieve these objectives the PT Manager will: Ensure that all Personal Trainers are delivering high quality programs to their clients Develop weekly work schedules for fitness staff. Ensure that staff properly records their Time & Labor Ensure that staff compile with Time and Labor guidelines, and manage overtime in accordance with company guidelines. Provide member service and support related to fitness servicing issues Assist members and encourage their involvement in fitness services.
