Through a dedicated Continuing Care Recruitment & Retention program, Health Association Nova Scotia, provides centralized Human Resources and Immigration support to address current and anticipated labour shortages in partnership with the Nova Scotia Department of Seniors and Long-term Care (DSLTC). We are currently seeking a Funding Coordinator to join our team for a two-year temporary position.
Position Scope:
The Funding Coordinator supports the Recruitment and Retention team with the administration and tracking of Return of Service agreements and other documentation for various funding initiatives administered by HANS in collaboration with the Department of Seniors and Long-Term Care. In this role, the Funding Coordinator acts as a liaison with funding recipients, the CCA DUTJ & Registry, educational providers, and all other relevant partners to ensure all necessary documentation is collected and tracked in compliance with program guidelines. The Funding Coordinator is responsible for ensuring all key reporting and success metrics are accurately prepared and reported each quarter.
Qualifications:
As the ideal candidate, you are familiar with a variety of databases including Customer Relations Management (CRM), experience in MS Office solutions (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.), have accurate data entry skills, competent following written directions and have a high level of analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to organize and prioritize work. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively work with a wide range of individuals. You have a college diploma and/or equivalent related experience.
