The Fund Order & Custody Product and Project Analyst will take lead role in managing select projects supporting the Fund Order and Custody team's 3rd part mutual fund business.

Working within the Product and Project team, the analyst will be responsible for all administrative and reporting tasks of the Product and Project group reporting directly to the team leader. This person will lead reviews of operations processes with an eye to improve efficiencies and profitability and mitigate risk. The analyst will also lead the preparation of RFPs (Requests for Proposals) and take part in client due diligence reviews and other outside meetings with Service hubs or fund companies.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in all FO&C product reviews to analyze efficiencies and risk. Will be expected to lead select specific reviews.

  • Review and understand mutual fund industry initiatives effecting regulatory and compliance relative to the fund product.

  • Participate in department implementation of various project initiatives including owning testing and planning on certain projects.

  • Work with team to review department's activity and develop plans to create efficiencies and reduce risk.

  • Be Subject Matter Expert (SME) on all fund communications including FWV, SWIFT. Be point person on Comset product.

  • Work with CSG and RM group to analyze new business and propose potential pricing.

  • Will need to understand unit costs for each mutual fund function and be able to create and offer ideas to reduce overall processing costs.

  • Participate in any new service level models or product changes.

  • Responsible for the reconciliation and management of any residual Trailer 12b-1 fees and/ or dealer commissions received from US fund companies.

  • Assist in development and production of management reporting for P&P team.

  • In conjunction with OGC and Compliance be the point person for processing all Fund Contracts and documentation.

  • Take an active role in any risk, compliance, and project teams to compile and analyze data relevant to activity.

  • Help lead in any remediation projects.

  • Review and approve all responses to Fund attestations.

  • Be Point person to understand all costs and revenues of the product.

  • Review and approve Out of Pocket costs associated with Service Hubs (FundSettle, NSCC etc.).

  • Be Point person for organizing department's BCP plan.

  • Participate in responses to Fund RFP's (request for proposal).

Qualifications:

  • BS/ BA Degree

  • 3+ years of Custody experience, Mutual Fund experience preferred

  • Experienced manager of people and projects

  • Strong organizational Skills

  • Strong communication Skills at all levels

  • Proficient with Excel and other Microsoft Office tools

  • Good at working independently and in a team environment

  • Proactive self-starter

BBH's compensation program includes base salary, discretionary bonuses, and profit-sharing. The anticipated base salary range for this role is $62,000 to $72,000 which is specific to Jersey City, NJ and may differ in other locations due to cost of living and labor considerations. Base salaries may vary based on factors such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.
