Greenwich, CT Our client, a leading asset management company specializing in distressed investing is seeking a Controller for their Greenwich, CT location. Position Overview: This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse range of asset classes, including distressed debt and trade claims, in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fund accounting, with expertise in SS&C Geneva and Excel. Responsibilities : Manage fund accounting operations, including financial reporting, analysis, and compliance. Conduct reconciliation and analysis of investment transactions and positions.

Collaborate with portfolio management and research teams to evaluate investment opportunities and assess risk. Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data within the accounting system. Assist in the preparation of financial statements, investor reporting, and regulatory filings.

Support day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable. Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external service providers. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

CPA certification preferred. 3 years of experience in fund accounting or related role within the financial services industry. Proficiency in SS&C Geneva and advanced Excel skills. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, confidential environment and manage priorities effectively. Familiarity with regulatory requirements for investment funds is a plus.
