This team player will support Theater Medical Information Program-Maritime (TMIP-M) as a TMIP-M Analyst and Trainer, responsibilities will include Help Desk support, Functional training, and Onboard Tech Assists.

What You'll Get to Do:

Help Desk Support:

• Work from San Diego with the Norfolk VA TMIP Fleet Support Help Desk to work and track trouble tickets from identification through resolution.

• Engage other service desk resources or appropriate service resources to resolve incidents.

• Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues with TMIP servers and clients to assist customers with installation, troubleshooting, password changes, MMM/AHLTA-T issues. Provide support via email, phone, or onsite visits to USN and MSC ships pier side Naval Station San Diego and area shipyards.

• Answer, evaluate and prioritizing incoming calls / trouble tickets via Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) Remedy.

• Assist with developing, creating and modifying helpdesk knowledge base documentation and procedures.

• Instruct users on installation, troubleshooting, maintenance onsite, via email, or over the phone of all developed TMIP systems, servers, and related software applications (AHLTA-T, MMM, Oracle, MIRTH, etc.).

• Interact with the contract, government staff, and alike to resolve technical issues while testing the interface of government programs.

Functional Training/Onboard Tech Assists:

• Provide TMIP-M functional training through classroom and over-the-shoulder training during onboard assist visits.

• Work with Naval Station Medical Readiness Division to coordinate and provide TMIP-M functional training to Forces Afloat Medical Department personnel on a as needed basis.

• Work with fellow team members to develop new and/or maintain current Lesson Training Guides and Quick Reference Guides as needed to support application changes.

• Complete and submit associated documentation for the pre and post installation process.

• Work with fellow team members during shipboard application upgrades / installations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Providing Tier 2 customer support to end-users via phone, email, and onsite tech assist.

• Manage and troubleshoot all medical applications such as MMM, AHLTA-T, , Lexicomp, TMIP Reporting, etc.

• Maintain a SME level of knowledge over the TMIP-M applications to include AHLTA-T and MMM.

• Able and willing to participate in afterhours Duty phone rotation.

• Able and willing to work in environments such as Confined spaces (e.g., Submarines), industrial areas to include shipyards.

• Able and willing to climb/descend ladders, scaffolding, etc.

• Current Secret Clearance

• 5+ years of relevant experience

• TMIP-M suite of applications experience, to include primarily AHLTA-T (Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application

• Theater) and MMM (Maritime Medical Modules) amongst others. TMIP-M is installed on U.S. Navy Ships and Submarines, and the modified version that is installed at Medical Treatment Facilities (MTF)

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Demonstrated writing / editing skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Experience:

• Education: BS degree in Engineering, Health Sciences or Computer Science

• Experience: USN Independent Duty Corpsman or comparable

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

• Navy Hospital Corpsman with shipboard operational experience is preferred.

• Experience with the Navy's Radiation Heath Program

• Network+, Security+

$68,400 - 143,700 USD
