Functional Specialist/Advisor (Sr. Requirements Developer)
Clearance: Must currently possess an active TS/SCI security clearance and be able to obtain a polygraph level clearance after hire
Location: Langley, VA
Years of Experience: 11-14 Years
Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in International Security or Science field or equivalent experience within a related field
Provides expertise, guidance, consultation, facilitation, and thought leadership to the client and/or project team based on specialized in-depth expertise in such fields as: engineering and technology; policy and administration; planning; analysis; training and development; facilities; communications; visual design; human capital; business; and management. Ensures that quality is an integral part of the development, design and manufacture of products or services. Monitors products and services throughout the life cycle; validates/verifies adherence to specified requirements through test and measurement activities; manages/leads quality assurance activities. Works closely with assigned staff, senior specialists or task leads. May direct the activities of specialists or other staff as necessary on activities related to the specified field or discipline.
As Requirements Developers for the Analysis Office of Counterterrorism, individuals in this position will provide support to the requirements derivation process, the systems, sites and data involved in that process, and the individuals within the office, directorate, and agency concerned with that process. Specifically, these individuals will:
Be able to work rapidly in a high tempo, high stress environment that often requires multi-tasking.
Demonstrate good oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrate experience of computer database and developing long-range requirements for database administration and design.
Be able to prepare activity and progress reports regarding the database management.
Be able to work independently with minimal or no oversight.
Possess Strong organization, interpersonal, and customer skills.
Demonstrate organizational skills.
Collaborate and coordinate with the support technicians and other support staff members within the Counterterrorism Office.
Liaison with the office Technical Executive to identify issues and opportunities within the requirements derivation process.
Prepare briefings, presentations, and demonstrations. Specific products contractor will support:
Trip Reports if travel is performed.
Issues memoranda, briefings, papers and documents
Senior Management Review evaluations and recommendations
Input for weekly activity reports and weekly staff meetings.
Must currently possess an active TS/SCI security clearance and be able to obtain a polygraph level clearance after hire
Possess a Bachelor's degree or higher in International Security or Science field or equivalent experience in a related field
Possess at least 11 years of demonstrated experience in a distinct functional or cross-functional business area supporting counterterrorism requirements.
Demonstrated experience related to the counter-terrorism field, along with certification and use of applicable tools, methodologies, and best practices.
Possess at least 11 years of demonstrated experience that support multiple elements of the DoD /Intelligence Community.
Possess a post-graduate degree in English, National intelligence, History, Image Science, Journalism, Political Science, Engineering, Earth Sciences, or related field
