POSITION SUMMARY

Customer Platform Functional Manager SFDC will support the evolution and successful adoption of Customer Platform and its best practices within EMEA/LATAM perimeter, by actively engaging with EMEA/LATAM affiliates Business Relationship Managers, Project Managers and identifying the opportunities to reuse solutions and business process already implemented in other countries.

Functional Manager is also responsible for:

  • business requirements gathering and specifications on EMEA / LATAM Customer Platform

  • maintain Customer Platform Solutions Toolkits, Implementation Guides as well as Functional and Technical documentation up to date and sharing it with all the parties engaged

  • SFDC configuration

Reporting to the Head of Platform he will contribute to the evolution and roadmap of the platform focusing on business value maximization and shortest time to market.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Management

  • Provide detailed functional specifications or user stories to developers and testing specialist

  • Provide functional expertise on the product supporting Local IT Project Managers on business requirements

  • Propose solutions for new demands and review them with the Head of Platform keeping in mind that reuse of standard and existing features is key for the time to market in all affiliates

  • Collaborate with Solutions Architect on the high-level solution design and coordinate with Supplier on technical implementation, validating the proposed solution

  • Participate to sprint and release planning

  • Collaborate with Testing specialist on testing scenarios and plans

  • Maintain deployment toolkit and Product documentation

  • Implement SFDC configuration for existing and new features, in coordination with external vendor

  • Analyze adoption KPIs and User Support data to provide insights on user adoption and product improvements

  • Monitor budget and report to Head of Platform budget spending on assigned activities/projects

Support

  • Provide 3rd level support expertise on bug resolution and validate resolution proposal.

Documentation

  • Maintain product documentation and collaborate with Testing Specialist on User Training documentation

KEY COMPETENCIES and KPIs

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Business or similar relevant fields

Background

  • Total of 4+ years of previous experience in SFDC based solutions delivery

  • Solid understanding of sales business process.

  • Experience on SFDC solution configuration and management

  • Knowledge of technical business requirement gathering and documentation, testing and test scenarios

  • SFDC Certifications preferred

Skills / Competencies:

  • Project management skills, with a strong detail and task-oriented focus

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural skills, with the ability to work well with international teams leveraging virtual collaboration tools

  • Good team player who is self-motivated, proactive, can multi-task and is innovative

  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Ability to manage and work with a culturally diverse population

  • Customer orientation

  • Experience in the Consumer Goods industry is desirable

He/she will act as a Subject Matter expert on key technologies to assist the organization with capitalizing on digital and deploy consumer-facing technologies, by actively engaging with EMEA & LATAM affiliates Business Relationship Managers, Project Managers and Group/Region Marketing, Legal and IT teams. Digital Functional Manager is also responsible for: * business requirements gathering and analysis on EMEA / LATAM Consumer Platform * managing Consumer Platform Solutions Toolkits, Implementation Guides as well as Functional and documentation up to date and sharing it with all the parties engaged * Vendor developments oversight/coordination * Project Management He/she will support the Head of Platform on a consistent platform evolution participating at the definition of a product roadmap focused on business value maximization and shortest time to market. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Subject Matter Expert: * Communicate high level strategy and objectives of PR Digital Tool Ecosystem * Train affiliates and their agencies on key regional or global solutions * Follow framework for local technical agency on-boarding and agency management * Follow best practice models and learnings from solution implementations across the region * Helps other Center of Excellence team members to maintain technical knowledge and skills * Support local markets on the choice of local agencies providing on-boarding training and toolkits * Support other Center of Excellence team members to maintain digital technical knowledge and skills Regional Orchestration: * Actively engage with different teams (Marketing, IT, Legal teams & external partners) to align on business priorities and solutions for their affiliates. * Share solution roadmaps and evolutions with key stakeholders in affiliates * Coordinate with EMEA HQ and Global HQ business and IT teams on key solutions and solutions implementation * Reinforce best practice sharing with relevant business and IT communities Solutions Delivery: * Actively engage with local Markets through Business Relationship Management Teams to understand their functional requirements, advise on the choice of appropriate solution (validating if global solution exists or is planned). Then, if appropriate, support on scoping a local/regional solution. * Deliver Digital consumer-facing projects across affiliates within the EMEA & LATAM region using project management and system development life cycle methodology (Analyze, Design, Build, Test, Deploy, Maintain) * Accountable for all resources and their deliverables (including external partners and other IT teams) * Minimize project risks and issues * Establish an active communication with Business Relationship Management Teams to keep project updates Product Management: * Manage regional solutions, when global solutions do not cover Region needs. Also, by leveraging new technologies to bring innovative consumer experiences. * Discuss new demands for the product with the Head of Platform supporting a business value-oriented prioritization of features consistent with the platform ecosystem and evolution strategy. * Build and maintain up to date knowledge on platform evolution, do trainings, participation to conferences, self-study * Support BRMs and PMs in challenging affiliates on non-added value requests proposing alternative solutions using standard features * Provide functional expertise on the product supporting Local IT Project Managers on business requirements * Push full exploitation of the platform and identify UX/UI and features improvements analyzing user adoption KPIs and Support data * Provide functional expertise on the product supporting delivery team's Project Managers on complex business requirements and during projects * Ensure deployment toolkit and Product documentation is properly maintained and updated after each release cycle * Project manage activities with vendor * Manage assigned budget Innovation: * Propose solutions to improve / optimize usage, reliability and robustness of consumer-facing technologies * Leverage new technologies that can represent an opportunity for innovative consumer experiences Support * Provide 3rd level support expertise on bug resolution and validate resolution proposal.
