GDIT is seeking a Functional Analyst/Specialist to provide technical and management support services to the Department of Justice Installation Program Management and supporting staff. The primary duties for this position will be as follows:
Support multiple projects and projects documentation, drawings and creating Material Equipment Lists (MELs).
Support financial management and administrative activities, such as inventory control, project scheduling, and resource planning.
Control database consisting of: floor plans, graphs, drawings and Material Equipment Lists (MELs).
Revise and control the program's process and procedures, project details, existing procedures, processes, techniques, models, and/or systems.
Develop and prepare charts, tables, graphs, and diagrams to assist in analyzing problems.
Provide daily supervision of time keeping administration for staff. Also assist in the preparation of management plans and reports.
Coordinate schedules to facilitate completion of proposals, contract deliverables, task order reviews, briefings/presentations, and in-process review preparation. Perform analysis, development, and review of program administrative operating procedures.
Must have a Bachelor's Degree in computer or information science, business, or liberal arts and 3 - 5 years of related experience, supporting multiple projects in a government setting. Must have knowledge and capability of using Microsoft Office products Excel, Power Point, Access and Word.
2-5 years of related experience.
As a Functional Analyst, review business processes in order to gain a complete understanding of current procedures, identify improvements, document those processes, and connect business people to information technology groups in an organization.
