Who You Are

You are a software engineer who believes in creating customer delight thru simple and easy to use solutions. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced dynamic environment with a "take-charge" / "can-do" attitude and is able to demonstrate flexibility and resiliency. Successful applicants must be self-sufficient and be able to work with minimal supervision. Work with geographically distributed teams across different time zones. A full-stack developer who works on metadata driven products and applications engineering end-to-end, designing components, widgets and persistence mechanism.

What You'll Do

  • You will design and develop tooling to drive end to end microservices visibility and troubleshooting

  • You will design and develop software applications and frameworks to provision microservices applications on Kubernetes

  • You will bring technical solutions to the leadership team, feedback on solutions recommended, new product ideas with the team through design review, pair programming, code review and tech talk.

  • You have the ability to share technical solutions and product ideas with the broader team through design review, code review, proof-of-concepts and show and tell

  • You will participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to our technology, algorithms and products

  • You will implement new features in a highly collaborative environment with product managers, UI/UX experts, and software and hardware engineers.

Who You Are

  • You have a BS/MS in Computer Science or related areas

  • You have five or more years of relevant work experience

  • You have hands on experience with application development using SQL and NoSQL data stores (Postgres, MongoDB, Cassandra, Elastic Search etc.,)

  • You have a very good understanding of HA and Clustering of distributed systems

  • You have expert programming skills using Python and Golang for backend application development

  • You have solid experience building front end applications using any of the popular frameworks like Vue.js or React

  • You are experienced in software architecture, system design, Object Oriented programming, RESTful API design and implementation

  • You have a very good understanding of microservices architecture

  • You have practical experience in building highly performant, scalable applications

  • Hands on experience working with Kubernetes/Docker is highly preferred

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (or above) in engineering/computer science with an overall work experience of 6+ years.

  • Strong JS development experience of building web applications using Vue.js/React/Angular or similar frameworks.

  • Expert skills in application / backend engineering, developing REST APIs and micro-services, DB (SQL/NoSQL) persistence.

  • Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and object oriented Design

  • Experience in developing applications using Python/Golang.

  • 2+ years in Agile engineering experience

  • 2+ years of experience with Cloud computing (AWS/Azure/GCP)

What We're Seeking * Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science or related disciplines, or relevant experience in software architecture, design, development and testing. * Experienced Software Engineer with strong professional development experience in Web development with HTML5, CSS, Javascript, and general Web 2.0 technologies. * Experience with JavaScript-based libraries such as AngularJS, Angular 2+, JQuery, Bootstrap, Knockout, Backbone.js, and D3.js. * Good knowledge of object oriented analysis & design. * Strong instincts and background in creating simple, clean and powerful user interfaces. * Experience with Platform as a service (PAAS) environments and API's such as Docker, and Kubernetes a big plus. * Experience with web services (SOAP/REST), and SOA is a plus. * Background in using statistical analysis/modeling tools such as SAS, SPSS, R, etc. is desirable. * Background in using Business Intelligence and Data Mining tools desirable. * Experience with agile development processes and tools desirable.
