Full Stack Infrastructure Cloud Reliability Engineer

The position is an unprecedented career opportunity for a senior full stack developer to contribute to the transformation of a major financial institution's enterprise-wide adoption of IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) provisioning technologies. The role demands a senior developer advocate who can drive metrics-based reliability engineering within both our current open-source private cloud offerings and who can play a leading role in building out the integration and instrumentation of our emerging public cloud offerings for application teams requiring on-demand scalability.

Key Experiences

The ideal background of a full-stack developer includes experience across the entire "vertical" software stack, including front-end/UI, backend/server side, database (relational and non-relational/NoSQL), Big Data platforms, and RESTful API architectures. In addition, candidates should have hands-on experience building software development lifecycle (SLDC), version-controlled automated CI/CD application build and deployment pipelines.

Technically, the candidate should have experience in modern scripting and/or objected-oriented languages like Python, Go, Java or Ruby, possess working knowledge in many IaaS components (compute, networking, storage, load-balancing, data, image-based provisioning), and have programmatically-engineered software-defined network features like virtual firewalls, load-balancing and segmentation. Extensive Enterprise-class Linux operating system engineering experience is essential, including the emerging disciplines within reliability engineering like scalability, service-orientation, compliance, application-level high-availability, monitoring, alerting, "chaos" engineering and even auto-healing.

The ideal candidate in our setting should have experience leading and mentoring less experienced team members through DevOps, deadline-driven Agile development methodologies, delineating the role of "product ownership", retaining Scrum ceremonial disciplines, championing a LEAN approach to driving out waste through iterative Minimal Viable Product deployments, incorporate

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of operating systems analysis experience
  • 1+ year of source/version control tools experience
  • 1+ year of virtualization technologies experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Agile experience

  • 1+ year of RESTful or SOAP web services

  • 3+ years of source or version control tools experience

  • 1+ year of Python experience

  • 1+ year of database experience

  • 1+ year of OpenStack experience

  • Knowledge and understanding of technology infrastructure: distributed technologies

  • 1+ year of RPM packages experience

  • Knowledge and understanding of technology server: virtualization or partitioning

  • 3+ years of virtualization technologies experience

  • 1+ year of Puppet experience

Other Desired Qualifications

  • Strong demonstrated ability or history in identifying opportunities to automate manual processes.

  • Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD)

  • Knowledge of IaaS and PaaS Cloud Platforms such as Openstack, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, Cloud Foundry and Kubernetes

  • Working Knowledge of tools such as Jenkins, Terraform, Containers, Vagrant and Packer

  • 3+ yrs of leading high-performing teams under stress and with expectation for delivery

  • Work experience in data analysis of complex forensic log investigation as well as time-series metrics research

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related fields

  • 1+ years of build-deploy automation and configuration experience within the Linux and Unix environment

  • 3+ years of development and implementation experience with applications, databases, or a combination of both

You will be responsible to understand the various sections of the website, tie them back to backend technology and find problems and work with teams to fix the issues. Responsibilities * Participate in tealeaf regional Implementation ongoing optimization, Tealeaf and train other tech resources in our team. * Provide technical expertise to aid in application enhancements. * Manage business expectation like budgeting, forecasting, planning, strategizing, and executing complex business plans. * Needs expert Tealeaf knowledge ( Like Tealeaf CX, cxImpact, cxMobile, cxView, cXReveal ,cxverify and cxConnect etc.,) * Managing the Tealeaf VA release and fixes ( CAP /RE) * Manage the Core Tealeaf product and provided requirements and guidance for major/minor releases * Review the utilization of the production systems and systems in test, and propose architectural and operational changes to the Tealeaf environment * Diagnose issues and implement configuration changes. * Own software Installation and Maintenance * Needs to debugging knowledge in Tealeaf * Needs to prioritize business required Level 1 Reporting and Data Analysis * Own UAT and PROD Environment Installation and Maintenance * Own the debug and fix problems in production environments and duly document and follow-up on permanent fixes with the technical teams * Patch releases schedule and implementation (both IBM/ Glassbox ) twice a year * Needs to own customer issue and debug /fix problems in production environments or report to IBM to find a resolution * Write and approve data architecture & the technical design imitative for the current / ongoing releases * Will also own the solution architect for Tealeaf Customer Experience Management (Analytics, Best Practices, Training, Software Implementation, Hardware Implementation, Diagnostics). * Will need to work with of the IBM's Tealeaf replay team - helped lead a team of replay specialists and helped manage product enhancements for replay * Needs to manage customer escalations - helping understand the customers' issues, getting the right resources involved, and following up to help them resolve their issues * Will also own the future SOW with the IBM vendor and set an expectation with Client customers. * Relative experience in Data analytics/Business Intelligence area, during which professional capabilities have been clearly demonstrated. * Industry/domain skills: * Expertise in financial domain industry will be preferred * Technical skills: * Experience in IBM Tealeaf and understanding of Customer Experience (CX) technologies * Extensive expertise in any industry standard Data Analytics / Customer Experience Management tool and related technical platforms * Experience in Incident/Change/Problem Management Tool like Service Now/ any other service management tool. * Strong understanding of Data Security and Privacy technologies.
