About the Opportunity

DMI is seeking a full time Fullstack JavaScript Developer.

Duties and Responsibilities:

We're actively seeking Fullstack JavaScript Developers of all experience levels of to join our talented team of consultants. If this sounds like you, we can't wait to meet you.

As a Fullstack JavaScript Developer, you'll design and develop applications to support our clients' business needs. Your results-focused mindset helps in your delivery of successful projects for our firm. Yu'll tap into your experience within the various JavaScript frameworks and related tools and technologies to aid in the construction of web-based interactive applications including complex processing, interactions with relational databases and integration with external systems. You'll also participate in code review activities, development of unit tests and completing bug fixes.

Qualifications

Required Skills/Certifications:

  • Experience with modern web technologies and techniques such as ECMAScript 2015/2016 (ES6/7), CSS pre-processors (SASS, Less, Stylus), JavaScript transpilers (Babel, TypeScript), and JavaScript build tools (WebPack, Browserify, Grunt, Gulp)

  • Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular, AngularJS, or Ember. React preferred.

  • Experience with Node.js and the NPM package ecosystem

  • Experience writing unit tests using Karma/Jasmine/Mocha/Protractor or other JavaScript testing frameworks

  • Experienced within the full software development lifecycle

  • Ability to conduct and participate in peer code reviews

  • Proven experience writing high quality code

  • Very strong written and oral communication skills

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, strong work ethic, self-motivated, and excellent presentation skills

  • Ability to effectively work both autonomously as well as on a team

  • BS in Engineering, Computer Science or related field

Desired Skills/Certifications:

  • Consulting experience

  • Java and/or C#

  • Experience with agile project development, specifically:

  • Feature-driven development experience

  • Completion of an agile project with usable iterative releases to production

  • Integrated testing experience within sprints

  • Comfortable working in 2-3 week sprints resulting in a working, potentially shippable product at the end of every sprint
