Enterprise Rent-A-Car has an opening for a full-time Vehicle Delivery Technician. The Vehicle Delivery Technician performs light maintenance on vehicles, completes pre-delivery inspections and conducts the in-fleeting process according to procedures. This position is of routine difficulty requiring the exercise of reasonable judgment and initiative. This position is located in Romulus, MI 48174.

Our Full-Time Vehicle Delivery Technician position requires a commitment of 40 hours/week, and pays $11.00/hour.

  • Perform in-fleet servicing on new vehicles according to company required procedures and utilizing the delivery checklist

  • Inspect new vehicle deliveries from transporter for damages and/or missing parts and complete the delivery receipt as required by the manufacturer

  • Perform light maintenance on vehicles in fleet

  • Perform other related duties as required

  • Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality

  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future

  • Must have a valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations within the last 3 years

  • No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record (ie., DUI/DWI) in the past 5 years

  • Must accept starting pay of $11.00/hour

  • Must accept working entirely outdoors

  • Apart from religious observations, must be able to work 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.(1/2 hour lunch daily)

The ED Tech is a member of the emergency department patient care services team with primary responsibilities for technical, multi-skilled direct and indirect patient care activities. The ED TECH is assigned to work under the supervision of a registered nurse who delegates tasks based upon patient needs and ED Tech skills and scope of practice. 1. Collaborates and cooperates with care team members to ensure consistency and quality of care and promotes productive employee relations among staff members. Demonstrates an understanding of and commitment to the philosophy and objective of continuous improvement, team work and the mission vision and values of the DMC. * 2. Assists the registered nurse by gathering data on patient conditions, direct patient observation. Reports changes in patient medical and/or emotional condition to the registered nurse. Documents interventions and patient responses according to policy. Assists nursing personnel in responding to various emergency patient situations. * 3. Assists in the training/orientation of other technicians and care team members as directed. * 4. Follows all departmental policies, procedures and objectives; continuous improvement initiatives; safety environmental and infection control standards. * 5. Demonstrates sensitivity to patient comfort and privacy and expresses interest in patient progress. Answers questions from patients and their families and explains procedures and processes within the scope of their training/responsibilities. Maintains confidentiality. * 6. As required by unit needs, performs general clerical duties which may include, but are not limited to, answering telephones and call lights, greeting patients and visitors. * 7. Enhances personal growth through participation in workshops, educational programs, in-service meetings and reviewing current literature.
