Full-Time Temporary Faculty In Media Production - Framingham State University

Job Description:

The Department of Communication, Media, and Performance at Framingham State University is seeking a full-time temporary faculty member in digital media production starting September 2024. This position is for the 2024-25 academic year. The ideal candidate will be adept at telling stories in a variety of media, including podcasts, short videos, and longer films. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in multimedia production and related areas, advising students, attending department and other meetings, and managing media equipment loaned to students.

Requirements:

• Master's degree plus experience accepted. Terminal degree or A.B.D. preferred.

• Experience with or a demonstrated willingness to participate in teaching, mentoring, research, or service activities that promote the growth of an equitable, diverse, and inclusive academic environment.

Additional Information:

This is a full-time, exempt, benefits-eligible position in the Massachusetts State College Association (MSCA) bargaining unit at a faculty rank commensurate with experience and credentials. Salary commensurate with experience in accordance with Appendix O of the MSCA contract.
