- Plan activities that will help children learn and grow by teaching basic learning skills through learning time. Also, spending one on one teaching time for different age group children to assure that they are academically developing on their levels.
- Observing and assessing children by recording their learning development, watching for signs of emotional and developmental problems.
- Communicating with parents and families to encourage their involvement in the program in the family home childcare setting.
- Creating a supportive environment by nurturing the children, allowing them to learn in a positive space with one another to grow and feel comfortable.
- Maintain a well cleaned environment at all times
- Prevent illnesses and diseases by deep cleaning once a week
- Cook meals and serve children, change diapers, and potty training as needed
- Support director with any and all other duties as needed for the family home childcare
