The Student Media Technician position is Open Until Filled so that we can find the ideal candidate for our amazing team. This position is grant funded through a 5-year grant.

As a Full-Time Classified Student Media Technician, you will be responsible for assisting students in the use of campus software, technology, media, and tech-related course issues. The Student Technology Support role is critical in helping students with all their technical needs for synchronous and asynchronous learning. The student-designated technology support desk will provide students with technical assistance with online and hybrid courses, helping them stay on their academic/career paths and progress toward graduation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Qualifications:

• Associate degree in computer science, information technology, or computer information technology OR two years verifiable experience installing, software, troubleshooting, and supporting desktop computers and software systems.

Preferred (Not Required) Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in educational technology, computer information systems, or equivalent preferred.

• Experience working in an educational setting preferred.
