We're looking for a reliable, experienced, FLEX Security Officer! The persons in this position will maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and co-workers by patrolling, monitoring premises, and performing search procedures.

This is a Flex position applicant will work 2 days in Troy and 2 days in Schenectady

Schedule - Monday 1600-0000, Tuesday 1800-0200, Wednesday 1730-0130 Friday 1600-0000

WAGE - $13/hr

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security/safety of premises

  • Guard, patrol, and monitor industrial or commercial premises to prevent safety hazards, theft, violence, or infractions of rules

  • Enforce rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and respond to emergency situations requiring security assistance

  • Write detailed narrative reports and maintain daily activity reports (DARs)

  • Provide assistance to customers, employees and visitors in a courteous and professional manner

  • Monitor for irregular or unusual activity

  • Secure facility and designated areas

  • Enforce facility and company policies and procedures

  • Investigate and prepare reports on incidents

Qualifications

  • Must have NYS Security License

  • 18 years of age or older

  • Experience with Phones/Tablets

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • Must have good communications skills

  • Ability to stand or walk for long periods

  • Ability to think clearly during crisis or high-stress periods

  • Must be reliable, have a positive attitude, and uphold ethical behavior

  • Must have one (1) year of experience as a security supervisor, police officer, military or a combination of education, training or work experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of this position

Provides overall supervision for clinical services for the site. Serves as the liaison for clinical matters with medical providers outside the system and provides "on-call" services. Responsibilities * Reports to the assigned facility at the designated time to examine referred patients. * Performs medical examinations on all new inmates within 72 hours of admission. * Conducts "Doctor Sick Call" to examine and treat those inmates requesting care and who, after being triaged by the nursing staff, require the services of a physician. * Evaluates the credentials of health care providers of the assigned facility at the designated time to examine referred patients. * Assures the implementation and on-going supervision of the on-site chronic clinics. * Assumes the role of primary care physician to inmates and coordinates care both at the jail and off site. * Supervises clinical services provided by the professional and paraprofessional staff. * Annually reviews and approves clinical protocols, policies and procedures as well the medical disaster plan. * When appropriate, utilizes available in-house resources for treatment or resolution of identified problems before referring to off-site providers. * Monitors all referrals to outside health care facilities for appropriateness, quality and continuity of care. * Routine pharmacological management and evaluation, including the monitoring of all non-formulary medication at the assigned facility. * Ensures that all telephone orders are countersigned within 72 hours . * Provides emergency treatment on-site and responds appropriately in urgent or emergency situations. * All other duties as assigned. Qualifications * Must possess a degree in medicine (M.D./D.O.) from an accredited medical school. * Must be licensed to perform medicine and must be CDS certified.
