At our Company, we grow People, Brands, and Businesses! We are hiring a full-time customer-centric Retail Sales Associate for a pop up retail shop for an online retailer of home goods and furnishing. As a Sales Associate you will help drive retail sales at a unique event showcasing exciting home products by helping people find the perfect furniture, home furnishings, dcor and goods all at the right price. Candidates should have previous retail sales experience, provide exceptional customer service, be tech-savvy, passionate about design, and have a command over sales. Our ideal candidate is strong in sales and is excited to share home dcor options with new and existing customers.

Pop Up Shop located at Natick Mall
30 - 40+ retail hours a week from Nov 1, 2018 - Jan. 4th, 2019
Mandatory pre-event training week of Oct. 22nd
Pop-up runs from Nov. 1 - Jan. 2
Availability to work Mall holiday hours including Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, NYE, NYD

What You'll Do:
Engage and inform customers on key brand points and what is happening at the Pop-up (giveaways, sweepstakes, programming, etc.)
Drive and increase in-store sales through customer interaction
Be a brand expert - understand our brand and as well as products and services, and be able to guide consumers through the online experience
Maintain event appearance, quality of goods and a clean and well-kept store
Manage the consumer flow of the event space
Restock low product and premiums and replace damaged display merchandise
Introduce customers who are looking for interior design help/to make purchases to a brand employee
College degree preferred or equivalent job-related experience
Basic Knowledge of home dcor and renovations
5 - 7 years of retail experience leadership experience a big plus
Minimum 1-year retail sales experience
Excellent interpersonal, communication and follow through skills
Exceptional customer service skills
Ability to troubleshoot and be solutions driven
Understanding of how the online retail experience works
Creative, energetic, and passionate!
Bilingual a plus (English & Spanish)

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Acts as primary field authority/main point of contact
Placement and set-up/teardown of assets
Provide leadership to field team in order to reach program goals
Motivate and support team to execute without incident every time at every event
Document the event via reporting and pictures
Assign event day duties to both internal company and external agency staff
Responsible for flawless on-site event management and coordination including vendor assets
Responsible for event assets, transport, and maintenance of all assets
Communicate event updates as required to Company Management
Personal Development / Training/ Reporting
Participate in mandatory on-line trainings and conference calls.
Attend possible ongoing monthly product trainings, team meetings, client trainings, etc.
Accurately complete and submit timely HR paperwork and reports online, call reports, expense reports (if applicable), training certification quizzes, etc.
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities for direct reports
This position does not have guidance or mentoring responsibilities for indirect reports
Travel and/or Driving Requirements:
Travel and Driving is an essential duty and function of this job

Education Level: (Required) High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience
(Preferred) Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
2-4 years of work experience in related field/industry
Experience managing events on-site as well as having an ability to delegate tasks to a team of associates in order to achieve event goals.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
A thorough knowledge of principles of effective brand marketing, specifically mobile marketing.
Proven experience in effective communications, consumer and client relations, and management.
Engaging and outgoing personality.
Excellent organization and writing skills.
Detail oriented with exceptional time management and multi-task approach.
Needs to have the ability to stand and interact with customers and staff, by moving away from the event station as needed in order to promote sales and manage the event for the entire length of the shift (other than legally required - breaks/meal periods).
Certain events may require an associate to drive and operate your own or company leased vehicle (to include mobile trucks, cars and/or vans) transporting event assets to and from worksite.
Carrying, lifting, lowering appliances/equipment weighing up to 30 lbs. a distance of 20 feet and up to 10 feet overhead.
Must be capable of bending and kneeling, reaching and lifting and squatting for short periods of time etc.
Certain product demonstrations may require specialized talent, experience, expertise, skills, knowledge, certification, or duties in order to be eligible to conduct a particular event. If an associate does not satisfy the particular requirements for the specialized event, he/she would remain eligible for the standard, non-specialized events otherwise available to all associates in the position (to the extent such positions are available). Examples of the talent, expertise, experience, skills, knowledge, certification, or duties which may be required to conduct a specialized event include (without limitation): ability to satisfy requirements necessary to conduct product demonstrations involving alcoholic beverages; Food Safety Certification; Responsible Alcohol Server Certification, ability to conduct hot and/or cold food preparation (including without limitation use and handling of sharp objects, cooking appliances, and other food-related tools/equipment); video game/other consumer electronics knowledge, skills, and experience.

Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work may be performed in an office, field, retail store, or warehouse environment. Typically requires the ability to spend 66%+ hours each work day doing the following activities: engage in considerable physical activity, ability to lift and/or push up to 50 pounds, stand on feet for long periods of time, use products or cook food as appropriate for the demonstration, and may be required to work in extremely cold conditions (i.e. refrigerated and freezer sections). Also required to travel and drive. The use of proper safety practices when handling the products and/or cooking is essential.
