Coordinates receiving, inventory, and storage of all products for restaurant. Responsible for ensuring all invoices are received and coded to proper budgets. Liaison with vendors and department concerning general outside maintenance on all F&B equipment. Ensure all F&B locations are properly stocked prior to events. Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas
Meet delivery trucks and receive deliveries.
Inspect shipment for incorrect counts, damage, spoilage, etc. and ensure that issues are noted on all receipt documents and the documents signed. File shipment damage claims as required.
Transport goods from vendors to their ultimate destinations (individual, department, etc.).
Check in deliveries, reconciling items received to Purchase Order and immediately making the appropriate management team aware of any expected items that were not delivered. Complete receiving function in the purchasing system.
Moving the stock to the appropriate storage areas, first dating stock with receipt date and then sorting items in the storage area to ensure the FIFO inventory method is adhered to.
Stocking all satellite locations on the day of events. This includes but is not limited to: moving food from freezer to refrigerator to thaw, checking and replacing kegs, pulling cups for each location based on the par level for each location and stocking and icing carts and coolers at each location. Responsible for ensuring the all locations are clean and orderly.
Processing invoices and ensuring correct coding.
Maintenance issues pertaining to F&B areas. This will include opening necessary areas for keg line cleaners, repair technicians, and all vendors that are here to work on F&B equipment. Collaborate with maintenance staff on follow through of needed maintenance to each area.
Responsible for the organization and cleanliness of all storage areas. Responsible for ongoing inventory in these storage areas, ensuring the physical inventory is reported to the F&B management team following shows and events. Assist with the monthly inventory cycle counts.
