Full Time- Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse

We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse to join our team. As a PCU RN at NCG Associates, you will have the opportunity to care for patients who are in need of specialized monitoring and intervention.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients in the Progressive Care Unit
• Monitor and interpret patients' cardiac rhythms and other vital signs
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Respond to changes in patients' conditions and take appropriate action
• Assist in the coordination of patient care and discharge planning
• Document patient information accurately and timely
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and protocols
• Stay current on nursing practices and participate in professional development opportunities

Requirements

• Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
• BSN preferred but we do take ADN with willingness to sign a contract to obtain BSN within 5 years, 2 years of RN experience
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Progressive Care Unit setting
• Strong knowledge of cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records and other relevant healthcare software

Base Hourly Pay/Salary Range: Would be be discussed during interview

Shift/Weekend/On-call differentials: Evening 1500-2230 Night 2300-0730: Weekend 1500 Friday-0659 Monday
