A family in Summit, NJ is seeking a full- or part-time, live-out nanny for their two children, ages 9 years old and 6 years old. The typical schedule will be Monday through Friday from 11 am/12 pm to 6/7:00 pm. The family guarantees 30 to 35 hours based on best fit.

Duties include:
Looking for an amazing nanny who will pick up the children from school and occasionally drive them to sports practices and games. Providing entertaining activities for the children after school. Light housework, including laundry, tidying, and doing dishes. Assisting with general household management and minor meal prep.

Ideal nanny:
The ideal candidate is independent and able to self-direct. They should possess strong time management skills and a desire to teach life lessons. Must be a strong English speaker with a clean driving record. A variety of real-life experiences and/or a background in education is a bonus.

About the children:
This 9-year-old is an inquisitive learner who is sensitive and eager to please. This 6-year old is smart and has a strong personality. Both children participate in sports and like experiments, STEM, and monster trucks. They love to play golf, ride bikes and ATVs, color, and play with Legos.

About the parents:
Mom is direct, kind, and tends to juggle a lot. She hopes to work with the caregiver in order to achieve their shared goals. Dad is a caring provider who travels frequently. Both parents want this to be the best job their nanny has ever had.

Benefits:
Salary plus paid vacation days off, paid holidays off, paid sick days off, and paid personal days off. While a family car is available if needed, the family prefers the nanny to use their own vehicle. They will reimburse the nanny for gas and give unlimited car washes as an added bonus.
