Full Time Nanny In Oakhurst For 2-1/2-Year-Old Girl

Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Oakhurst in finding a Full-Time Nanny for their 2-½-year-old daughter. The nanny would typically be needed Monday- Friday 9:00 am- 5:00 pm.

The best nanny for this family would be kind, fun, energetic, nurturing, and have experience caring for toddlers. Throughout the day, the nanny should be able to keep their daughter on her schedule, meet her daily needs, and engage her in fun educational activities that will encourage growth and development. These activities should include going on strolls, reading to her, water play, playing with toys, having outside time, arts and crafts, and imaginary play. The nanny should also be creative and proactive in coming up with activities to do with their daughter inside and outside the home. As trust is built, the nanny would be encouraged to take their child on outings, such as the library, storytime, museums, and other age-appropriate activities throughout the community. Their daughter will be potty training soon, so a nanny with potty training experience would be a plus. Both parents work from home, the nanny should be comfortable with this and respect work-from-home parent boundaries.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

• Meeting daily scheduling needs of the child (Feeding, Changing, Quiet time)

• Engaging with the child on an age-appropriate level

• Playing with the child both inside and outside the home

• Doing hands-on learning activities with the child

Household Duties Include (Child is first priority):

• Child’s laundry and changing children’s sheets weekly

• Child’s meal prep

• Unloading/loading the dishwasher

• Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the child

• Picking up after the nanny and child throughout the day

• Emptying diaper pail

Pets: The family has a dog and 2 cats, and the nanny would be asked to let the dog out during the day into the fenced-in backyard

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience

• Have a college degree or equivalent experience

• Have a professional resume

• Fill out a complete online application

• Pass a pre-screening interview with Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency

• Pass a national background check, including a driving record check

• Have a valid driver’s license

• Have safe and reliable transportation

• Have a minimum of three professional references

• Be non-smoking/vaping

• CPR and First Aid Certified

• Nanny should be fluent in English; any additional languages are a plus

• Must be up to date on vaccinations, including the COVID-19 vaccine and booster. The annual Flu Vaccine is preferred.

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:

• This position starts ASAP

• Legal pay is offered at $25.00 - $28.00 an hour, negotiable depending on experience
