Full Time Nanny In Fayetteville For A Newborn Baby

Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Fayetteville in finding a Full-Time Nanny for their Newborn son. The family also has a 2-year-old whom the nanny will only care for during school breaks, and holidays. The nanny would typically be needed Monday- Friday 7:00 am- 3:00 pm.

The best nanny for this family would be nurturing, loving, empathetic, fun, dependable, enjoys pets, and experienced caring for newborns. It is important for the family to find a nanny who will be attentive to their child's needs and will assist in creating a daily schedule for the baby. During the day, the nanny should read to the child and engage the child in developmental activities such as tummy time, playing with toys, going on strolls, and playing outside when the weather allows. The nanny should create an environment that will foster growth and encourage the child to meet their developmental milestones. As the child grows and trust is built, the nanny should occasionally take the child on outings such as going to the Park, the Library, Story Time, and other age-appropriate activities throughout the community. The older child is in school each day from 9:15- 3:00 and will only require care during school breaks and Holidays. Initially, mom will be on maternity leave, after which she'll transition to a hybrid work schedule, splitting her time between working from home and the office throughout the week. While mom is home the nanny may be asked to run errands and go to the grocery store while mom stays home with the baby.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

• Meeting daily scheduling needs of the child (Feeding, Changing, Napping)

• Engaging with the child on an age-appropriate level

• Playing with the child both inside and outside the home

• Doing hands-on learning activities with the child

Household Duties Include (Child is first priority):

• Family’s laundry and changing children’s sheets weekly

• Family meal prep (having ingredients ready or putting a meal in the crockpot)

• Unloading/loading the dishwasher and sanitizing bottles

• Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the child

• Picking up after the nanny and child throughout the day

• Emptying diaper pail daily and stocking diapers

• Assisting with children’s appointments

• Grocery Shopping and running errands

Pets: The family has a Golden Retriever and a Toy Poodle, and the nanny would be responsible for feeding them.

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience

• Have a college degree or equivalent experience

• Have a professional resume

• Pass a national background check, including a driving record check

• Have a valid driver’s license

• Have safe and reliable transportation

• Have a minimum of three professional references

• Be non-smoking/vaping

• Must be up to date on vaccinations, and TDAP. The COVID-19 vaccine and the annual Flu Vaccine are preferred.

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:

• Legal pay is offered at $23.00 - $25.00 an hour, negotiable depending on experience
