Merakey is seeking a Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse LPN to join our Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Services (IDD) division in Coraopolis, PA
LPNs start at $22.00/hour
This is a full time LPN position with the following schedule:
Tues, Wed, and Thurs (2:30p.m.-11:00p.m.) Fri (2:30p.m. - 7:00a.m.)
Shift Differentials, weekend and holiday pay will be factored in when applicable
The Licensed Practical Nurse will provide direct nursing care to persons with developmental and physical disabilities and maintain their medical records to comply with current nursing practice and state regulation. This position reports to the Health Services Supervisor and/or Assistant Health Services Supervisor. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Administer medications per Merakey/AVS policy and procedure.
Provide clinical assessments to persons.
Implement Health Related Protection Policy and Procedure, as needed.
Recording seizure activity, as needed.
Complete Consultant forms.
Perform heights and weights and record per policy.
Generate and update Health Care Plans, as needed.
Update and review Daily Care Checklists on a monthly Basis.
