Full-Time Health Unit Coordinator (Huc) - Tcu, Senior Living, West St. Paul

Walker Methodist Westwood Ridge in West St. Paul offers senior living with services to 127 customers and a 37-bed transitional care and rehabilitation center, 24 memory care apartments and 10 care suites.

Walker Methodist Westwood Ridge in West St. Paul is hiring for an On-Call Health Unit Coordination (HUC) in our TCU department. You will be responsible to prioritize, organize, coordinate and perform non-nursing clerical and administrative tasks for the TCU. Facilitate the admissions process by managing clerical and administrative tasks for the new admissions, including transcription of orders. Act as customer service liaison for the new TCU patients. Schedule:

Full-time with every other weekend and Holiday rotation.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of a HUC education program or prior experience as a HUC

• At least two years in an acute care or Transitional Care setting preferred

• Extensive experience with order transcription

• Previous experience working with an Electronic Health Record preferred
