Primary Functions:
The Educator must be able to teach a practical class using instructional strategies to make the course a thought-provoking, engaging, and positive environment for the students. Other duties will include assigning and grading homework, tests, and projects, reporting student learning outcomes, and anything determined by the college that is required during the semester. Additional responsibilities will involve support of the Medical Imaging Department activities and goals.
Other Key Responsibilities:
Daily checking of Trocaire email
Completion of all requested reports and grade submissions
Completion and submission of the class evaluation at the end of the semester
Being available to your students throughout the semester, both by phone and email, through set office hours
Attending meetings as required by the program director.
Minimum Qualifications:
Holds, at a minimum, a bachelor's degree in Radiologic Sciences, Physics, or Education in a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution
1-3 years of College level Radiologic Technology teaching experience at a JRCERT accredited school of Radiologic Technology
3-5 years of radiologic technology experience in a healthcare related setting
NYS (R) License required; ARRT (R) preferred
Must be detail-oriented and have robust communication skills
Course and curriculum leadership with demonstrated course development experience
Sensitivity to learning disabilities and diverse cultures
