Southwestern College welcomes applications for candidates seeking to teach full-time in a collaborative, consciousness-centered, and transformational learning environment. The successful candidate will hold or be eligible for an LPCC in New Mexico with a supervision designation; have a PhD in Counselor Education from a CACREP accredited institution*; have at least three years of direct client service in clinical mental health including supervision; and have graduate teaching experience in both in-person and online modalities. Preferred qualifications include three years of academic program leadership/management experience, including supervising and mentoring faculty, experience teaching and/or supervising counseling students online and on ground, experience teaching and administering online programs and courses, and active involvement with state and/or national professional counseling organizations. In addition to teaching and related responsibilities, job duties include curriculum development and alignment, and working toward CACREP accreditation.
