SUMMARY

Under the general supervision of the Head of Maintenance the Custodians are responsible for maintaining the safety and cleanliness of the school. This position is full-time and comes with paid leave, full benefits and Wyoming Retirement. Starting pay is $16.84/hr.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

This position reports to the Head of Maintenance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cleans rooms, hallways, cafeterias, restrooms, offices, stairways and other areas of building according to school district standards.

• Performs tasks to maintain buildings and grounds in safe and operable condition, such as making minor repairs to property as requested, clearing snow and ice, and related tasks.

• Sweeps, Scrubs, Mops and waxes Floors.

• Vacuums and shampoos carpets as required.

• Cleans Restrooms.

• Washes Windows and Glass Doors.

• Empty and clean Trash receptacles.

• Pick up litter in and around buildings.

• Minor Repairs.

• Replenishing supplies.

• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
