Prior job related experience in a school and/or church setting is a plus. Prior custodial experience is also a plus.
Skills, knowledge, and abilities required: Organize and complete activities and operations of the school and church. Perform a variety of cleaning and disinfecting tasks that include but are not limited to: the cleaning of railings, blowing of leaves, set up of cones in the parking lo,t and attending bathroom restocking and cleaning.
Possesses a knowledge of CAL OSHA work safety procedures and compliance with applicable standards and safety regulations, including safe cleaning methods, as well as implementing methods and practices of equipment and tools used in repair work. Respond to inquiries and provide requested information with efficiency and courtesy; maintain a professional manner in all communications and situations. This position requires the ability to perform work that requires frequent lifting, pushing, and/or pulling of objects of approximately 40 pounds to 75 pounds.
This position also requires mobility of arms, dexterity of hands, and mobility to stand, stoop, reach, and bend. Maintain consistent punctual and regular attendance and perform related job duties as assigned.
