Full Time Clerk/Charge Entry Specialist

Minnesota Oncology offers its employees an exciting, fast-paced, and challenging work environment. We are currently looking for an individual with passion for the healthcare field and someone that can commit to personal accountability and integrity. An ideal candidate will also have excellent oral and written communication skills with an ability to collaborate and work in a team based environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Electronic scanning of CBO charge tickets, payments and correspondence into our electronic storage files

  • Prepare daily outgoing postal mail utilizing postal machine; sort and distribute incoming postal mail to CBO and Administration employees

  • Sort and distribute interoffice mail coming via courier buckets from clinic sites

  • Sustain maintenance of paper records (archived items)

  • Manages supply order for administration and back up support for CBO

  • Assist in coverage of Administration front desk; greeting and signing in visitors

  • Provide charge entry support to the coding and billing team.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to lift 35 pounds due to courier mail sorting and other responsibilities

The incumbent supervises staff, volunteers and students in the School Success Center/School. The incumbent manages programing for quality and safety for assigned School Success Center/School. The School Success Program Director is responsible for building positive relationships with students, families, school staff, and community partners. Essential Functions: * Manages day to day operations for safe, high quality School Success programs focusing on youth development and academics within the assigned school. * Serves as the key contact for school staff, including the principal and teachers, for implementation of daily programs. Maintains strong working relationships and coordinate collaborative programming using school and Y funds. * Implements and coordinates the strategies and processes for daily programming to include, but not limited to, scheduling, recruitment, retention, data collection and reporting, behavior management, registration and transportation. * Manages expenses to approved budget while meeting daily programming needs including purchasing needed supplies and managing partner contracts to implement programming. * Develops and implements program curriculum and activities which meet grant goals and identified needs, where applicable. * Creates and maintains a staff structure including recruitment, hiring, staff development, and supervision of a high quality and diverse team. * Serves as the key contact for parents and community agencies and facilitates events and programming which engages them as partners. * Fosters a safe and respectful environment within a diverse community of youth, families, volunteers, and partner agencies. * Maintain CACFP and Minnesota Department of Health Licensing for meals and snacks, if applicable. Competencies: * Values * Inclusion * Developing Others * Relationships * Quality Results * Decision Making * Communication Requirements Qualifications: Required: * Bachelor's degree in education, social work or related field or equivalent experience. * Minimum of three (3) years of experience in managing programs (designing, implementing, and evaluating youth development programs) to include at least of 1 years directly supervising staff. * Ability to manage expenses to a budget. * Ability to develop positive relationships and collaborate with a variety of community partners. * Good interpersonal and relationship building skills * Strong problem solving and, analytical ability * Good communication (verbal and written) skills. * Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office. * Ability to work as part of a team and independently as needed. * Ability to maintain high levels of interaction in a fast paced customer focused environment. * Ability to foster a safe and healthy environment for youth and staff. * Ability to work with diverse groups people. * Adult and Child CPR or CPR/PR, First Aid, and AED Certifications within 30 days of hire date. Preferred: * Current state teaching license. * Skilled in group processes, group facilitation, and co-facilitation. * Experience in fundraising and grant writing. * Multilingual * Knowledge of CACFP Program requirements Work Conditions: * Ability to travel locally between locations to attend meetings, training, and events. * Ability to move throughout a school building regularly throughout the day. * Work environments range from quiet work areas to busy, noisy indoor and outdoor spaces with several groups talking amongst themselves concurrently. * May be exposed to verbal outbursts, physical actions or bodily fluids as part of the environment. * Perform all physical aspects of the position, including moving around, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds at a time. * Ability to recognize and react calmly and effectively in hazardous/dangerous situations.
