Full-Time Childcare Provider For Little Bulldogs Childcare

Job Summary:

Childcare Providers work under the supervision of the lead provider to assist with the care of children up to approximately four years of age. Work hours will be 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., 185 days per school year (185 care days correspond with teacher contract). Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment.

• Assist with ensuring compliance of all childcare center requirements as a Legally Licensed Exempt Provider (LLEP).

• Work with team members, volunteers, and guests in the program.

• Address basic interpersonal skills such as sharing, taking turns, and asking permission.

• Help children with basic needs such as diaper changing, feeding, etc.

• Assist with supervision of children in all settings.

• Maintain a pleasant, comfortable atmosphere for staff and children.

• Other duties as pertain to the care of children in the program.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• First Aid/CPR Certification

• Experience in a childcare setting preferred

This is a Grade 2 position on the Classified Pay Scale.

Salary and benefits will be determined by the Classified Compensation and Benefits Package.
