Full Time Automotive Technicians! Paid Weekly + Benefits!

PDW Performance Driven Workforce is now hiring Full Time Automotive Technicians for an Automotive Tier 1 Supplier. Automotive Technicians will modify cars and trucks in a prototype environment, performing a wide range of diagnostics, repairs and maintenance. This Full Time Automotive Technician position offers an AM Day shift + possible overtime and is based out of Romeo, MI. Candidates meeting the requirements for this Full Time Automotive Technicians position below are strongly encouraged to apply. AM Day shift, plus possible overtime available.

Shift:

• AM Day shift: 7:00 am to 7:00 pm (Rotating schedule and days)

• Must be willing to work 12-hour days, 3-4 days/week

• Must be able and willing to work every other weekend

Responsibilities:

• Maintain vehicle functional condition by working off repair orders or leader instructions and conducting inspections

• Repair mechanical and electrical system malfunctions and replace parts and components

• Read, interpret, and follow service procedures

• Maintain vehicle records by entering notes, service, and repair orders

• Keep shop equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventive maintenance, calling for repairs

• Participate in daily shop organization and clean-up

Job Requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum 2 years' automotive technician / mechanic experience

• Mechanical ability and ability to operate shop equipment

• Must have own tools with rolling toolbox

• Must have well rounded technician / mechanical experience and knowledge

• Must have good organizational skills

• Must have good attention to detail

• Must possess the skills to read, comprehend, and execute written procedures

• Must be an automotive technician / mechanic with a high level of urgency, motivation, and enthusiasm to learn

• Must have reliable attendance and the willingness to work overtime/weekends

Preferred Skills:

• Certificate in Automotive Technology or related

• State/ASE certifications

• Prototype build technician / mechanic experience

• Valid Driver's license
