Full - Time Aquatics Coordinator @ Glenville Ymca Pool

The Glenville YMCA is seeking dynamic individual to fill the full time position of Aquatics Coordinator. This position support the work of the Y, a leading charity committed to strengthening our community. This position plans, implements, supervises and evaluates programs and staff within the Aquatics Department. Acts as department head in the absence of the Senior Program Director.

Full Time 70 hours Biweekly

AQUATICS COORDINATOR - $20.14 PER HOUR - ASSISTS THE AQUATICS DIRECTOR IN LEADING THE BRANCH'S POOL OPERATIONS.

REQUIRED DOCUMENT(S): High School Diploma/GED, Aquatic (Pool) Certifications

• Minimum age of 18.

• HS Diploma/GED is required. Some college is preferred.

• Minimum two years of experience as a swim instructor and lifeguard.

• Minimum one year of experience in a supervisory role.

• Current CPR/AED, and First Aid certifications.

• Current aquatic certifications (YMCA or American Red Cross).

• Basic knowledge of computers.

• Excellent organizational, communication and problem solving skills.

• Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of

the community.
