The Full Stack Web Developer is a newly created position with responsibility for optimizing and supporting the technical needs of company mobile, web, and ecommerce sites to provide exceptional user experiences and maximize revenues.Work location: Niagara Falls, ON
Employment classification: Regular full-time (onsite role; with potential to grow to hybrid)
Work schedule: Monday – Friday
Salary: $80,000 to $90,000 per year

- Writing well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
- Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to determine site layouts, content, and design
- Creating website layout/user interfaces by using standard HTML/CSS practices
- Supporting the technical needs of sites of high volume websites, apps, and integrations to other software applications; including maintaining, expanding, and scaling sites
- Developing end-to-end solutions that generate positive user experiences
- Integrating high quality images and videos into existing Ecommerce platforms
- Turning sales and marketing mock-ups into various web languages
- Resolving compatibility and cross-browser issues
- Staying plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and applying them into operations and activities
- Bachelor's Degree or College Diploma in Web Development
- 3+ years’ experience with both front-end and back-end technologies in a B2B or B2C web production environment
- Experience working with Magento or other ecommerce platforms
- Experience working with PHP and JSON (required)
- Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Laravel or NodeRed experience (an asset)
- Working knowledge of server-side languages
- Proficiency with graphic design software; including Photoshop
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques
