Job Description

WAITR seekss Full Stack Engineers.

Responsibilities & Requirements include:
- Exceptional ability to work anywhere in our technical stack, and delivering high quality code both frontend and backend.
- Exceptional proficiency with HTML / CSS / Javascript.
- Experience working in a test driven environment.
- Being proactive, a fast learner, and great communicator.
- Able to work in cross functional teams that own entire products that impact millions of users and revenue for thousands of partners.

Bonus Points:
- Past experience with Node.js in production systems.
- Past experience designing and documenting RESTful APIs in Swagger.
- Past experience building well tested single page applications in Angular or React.
- Knowledge of best practices related to security, performance, and disaster recovery.
- Showing mastery in any of the above technologies via a GitHub or Stack Overflow profile.

One of the biggest challenges in developing a highly autonomous systems is designing it to handle unexpected scenarios. You will join the team developing our next-generation mission planner. This system is responsible for generating a mission plan from high-level user-provided goals as well as efficient re-planning and plan reparation in response to changes in the environment. Key Responsibilities: * Use your knowledge of multi-objective constraint satisfaction and optimization, predictive analytics, planning and re-planning techniques, and mission representation to design and develop an intelligent goal-based mission planning system * Researching and staying up to date with the latest developments in high-level/goal-based autonomy #LI-MK1 Requirements: This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering * 3 years of experience in a similar environment. * Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a US Secret Clearance In addition, applicants should have a deep working knowledge of at least two of the following: * Multi-objective constraint satisfaction and optimization * Predictive analytics * Planning & re-planning techniques * Mission representation * A passion for solving challenging problems in the field of robotics * Computer science theory and practice, either through a suitable degree or sufficient experience * Programming experience in at least one object-oriented programming language, preferably C * Familiarity with working in a Linux environment * Willingness to travel offshore or internationally to provide support, testing, and integration with hardware Our software stack includes software development in modern C on Red Hat-family Linux. We use Confluence and JIRA for project management, Mercurial for version control, Jenkins for continuous integration, and ReviewBoard for code review. Experience with any of these tools is a plus.
