The Software Engineer will be responsible for creating scalable, robust features and processes that leverage cloud technologies at their core. As an integral member of a cross-functional agile team, the Software Engineer will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle from requirements definition with Product Management to acceptance testing with a Quality Engineer to maintaining solutions in production environments.
By providing leadership and guidance in development best practices, the Software Engineer will help ensure the team produces high-quality and well-designed solutions. The Software Engineer will learn and implement new technologies on the job, and will teach and mentor others.
Job Duties:

Qualifications:
Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar degree required, or equivalent industry experience
7+ years relevant industry experience
Expertise with (or demonstrated ability to learn) our core development tools & technologies:
Required: C#, Python, and/or React.js
Preferred (some but not all of the following):AWS serverless technologies (AWS Lambda, Amazon DynamoDB, and AWS Step Functions), IaaS tooling (CloudFormation or Terraform), Postgres, Snowflake, EMR, Spark, Javascript, AJAX, SQL Server, CSS, Redshift, Jest, Yarn, Cake, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform
Experience with Agile software development
Working knowledge of software design patterns and anti-patterns
Excellent interpersonal & communication skills and an ability to build strong relationships
Highly motivated, collaborative, and possessing an entrepreneurial mindset
Flexible, agile, and open minded with a positive attitude
Able to plan work to meet project timelines with high attention to detail & accuracy
Excellent organizational & prioritization skills

Job Requirements
Deliver reliable, innovative storage and data management products.
Develops, modifies, and executes automated software test plans.
Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures.

Works closely with development engineers in feature development and resolution of problems. Analyze problems and apply to proper test tools and methods to create opportunities to contribute clean code
Improve productivity by refactoring and improving existing tools and workflows.
Education
