Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated Full-stack Software Engineer (with an emphasis on backend) to play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend APIs and dynamic frontend interfaces essential for our strategic decision-making processes. This position requires close collaboration with our team of engineers and data scientists to develop and implement advanced software solutions that support the growing demands of our data-driven infrastructure. Your contributions will be integral in building and enhancing our core software framework, enabling our organization to leverage modern technologies and methodologies to solve complex challenges and deliver significant value to our clients promptly.

Responsibilities:

Backend Development

• API Design and Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient RESTful APIs to support various business applications and services.

• Database Operations: Perform queries and data insertions in relational and non-relational databases to support API functionality. Ensure efficient, reliable, and scalable data management. Preferred experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.

• Integration: Integrate third-party APIs and services into our existing infrastructure to enhance functionality and performance.

• Security: Implement best practices for API security, including authentication, authorization, and data encryption (Keycloak).

• Test Driven Development (TDD): Implement and follow TDD practices. Create comprehensive unit, integration, and functional tests to validate code correctness and performance.

Frontend Development

• User Interface Design: Develop and maintain user-friendly and responsive web interfaces using modern frontend frameworks like React and Next.js.

• Performance Optimization: Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications across a variety of devices and browsers.

• Integrations: Integrate multiple APIs to ensure seamless data flow and enhance the functionality of our applications.

• Efficiency: Proven experience in designing reusable components and hooks to enhance code reusability and efficiency.

• Testing: Write and maintain unit tests and end-to-end tests to ensure the reliability and quality of frontend code.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

• 3+ years of experience in full stack development, ideally in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in backend languages like Node.js or Python (Flask API Framework).

• Proficiency in frontend technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Typescript, and modern frameworks (React and Next.js).

• Strong communication skills for effective team collaboration (remote environment experience is a bonus).

• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality web-applications.

Bonus Qualifications:

• Security Clearance

• Blockchain & Smart Contract Development Experience (Solidity, Cadence)

• Experience with AWS GovCloud

• Familiarity with Docker

• Strong development skills in TypeScript
