Design and implement efficient and maintainable Java-based web applications. Troubleshoot and debug complex issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Review code in screen-sharing sessions to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to coding standards.

Research latest trends and technologies in web development. Design and implement backend functionality using the Java MVC frameworks Struts1 and Struts2. Use relational databases (MySQL / Oracle / SQL Server) or disk storage to persistently store application data Design user interface screens with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

Use Java ANT to regularly build installation binaries of the product. Use version control systems (Subversion) to keep track of and analyze code deployed in earlier software versions. Assist computer operations teams in deploying live systems to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform.

Design training materials and host training sessions with colleagues and customers. Collaborate with other teams worldwide to define, design and ship new features. Work independently from a remote location.
