Responsible for the technical design, architecture and development of internal and external software applications. Provides leadership, direction and coordination to development resources in support of project and company objectives.


  • Understanding of multi-tier web application architecture with appropriate levels of abstraction within various architectural layers

  • Evaluates business requirements to determine most appropriate technical architecture and design patterns

  • Designs and implements high performance, scalable enterprise information architecture and distributed applications design

  • Participates in code reviews and provides suggestions to improve quality and comply with architectural, design and coding standards and best practices

  • Create and maintain web application architectural documentation and standards

  • Facilitates knowledge transfer to development and support team members

  • Provides technical leadership to web development and production support team members

  • Maintain effective relationships with user department personnel

  • Provides technical support and troubleshoots applications issues and bugs


  • BS or BA degree in information systems, computer science, or related work experience

  • 3+ years of working experience in developing scalable full-stack solutions

  • Experience in developing high performance web applications using open source Java technologies and Frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot

  • Experience in RESTful web services, Javascript, jQuery, AJAX, JSON, HTML, CSS

  • 3+ years working experience in UI development with AngularJS, Kendo UI (preferred).

  • Experience working and deploying on Linux preferred

  • Excellent working knowledge of Oracle database and PL/SQL, should be able to understand data models/schema and execute complex joins across tables, should be able to distinguish between good code vs. bad code

  • Experience with the development methodologies (Agile SCRUM)

  • Working knowledge of multiple Software Development Life Cycles (SDLC) and industry standard development methodologies

  • Collaborate with other application developers during software design and build

  • Code quality analysis of performing static and dynamic analysis on own code

  • Provide Technical support during Development, Testing, and Deployment of projects

  • Proactive, regular communications with the Technology Leads and Management on status, changes or issues

  • Performs root cause analysis, efficient production support and maintenance/enhancements for existing applications

  • Excellent documentation and knowledge transfer skills

  • Excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills

  • Ability to multi-task and handle changing priorities
