About the Role

As an engineer at Mux, you will help develop our React/Redux front-end application, our Elixir-based APIs, and our JavaScript SDKs. Work on interesting challenges like developer-friendly onboarding, data visualization, and scalable APIs. We're looking for a strong engineer who can work quickly on a small team to lead up important parts of our application stack.

Who You Are

  • 4+ years of engineering experience. You're a strong engineer comfortable working across multiple platforms and environments.

  • Solid engineering fundamentals (CS degree a plus).

  • Strongly proficient Javascript (we're using ES2017 and Webpack) and CSS. React/Redux experience or similar preferred.

  • Experience building REST APIs that people enjoy using. Elixir experience a big plus, but Python, Ruby, Node, etc. are also fine.

  • Video experience a plus but not required.
