Our client is a venture-backed startup based out of NYC working within the High-Performance Computing vertical. Their goal is to enable all organizations to leverage the power of Big Compute and believe that their customer base should focus on the science behind their applications not on the computing environment. They have developed an enterprise platform solution that performs discrete event network simulation at a data center scale.

Our client seeks a Full Stack Engineer to work with UI and API development.

The Position

  • Working with UI Development built on React/Redux
  • Working with API Development using Golang/Postgres
  • Learning to wield cloud orchestration via Terraform/AWS to developing new features
  • Developing integration/orchestration with cloud services using Python
  • Developing Database changesets and SQL queries

Requirements

  • 1-2 Years of experience with UI development in Javascript/HTML/CSS and current UI frameworks (React strongly preferred) an absolute must
  • 1-2 of Back-end RESTful application development (Golang preferred, full-stack JS discouraged) a must
  • 1+ Years working with Python programming language a must
  • 1+ Years working Experience with AWS (EC2, S3, ELB) preferable
  • 1+ Years with SQL queries (Postgres preferred) preferable
  • Experience working with javascript on the front-end (React)
  • Strong understanding of how to build APIs preferable in Golang, but other languages will be considered
  • Some understanding of the AWS public cloud
  • Fluency with Terraform or cloud orchestration
  • Experience with integrating analytics tools
  • Solid understanding of Protocols and related limitations (SSH, HTTPS, etc.)
  • Working experience with Active Directory SSO solutions
  • Python application development or fluency
  • Telemetry workflow and resultant Reporting architecture
  • Experience with Docker/Kubernetes
  • Golang middleware development (Go)
