The Digital team plays an integral, high-visibility role in working across the company's Marketing, Digital, and IT organizations. As the Full-Stack Developer you will be responsible for designing, engineering, and updating the company's main e-commerce retail platform. Successful candidates will operate in an agile environment, embrace DevOps culture and practices, and help mentor other team members as needed. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Our customers are can-do people who enjoy building, just like us. Job Requirements EDUCATION: * Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience. * 7-10 years' experience overall. EXPERIENCE: * Javascript: ES6, Typescript. Demonstrated knowledge of MVWhatever architecture, JS frameworks including React, Node, Angular, Vue, etc. Particular emphasis on React is a plus. * Comprehensive web/markup incl. HTML5, CSS3, w/SASS/SCSS, JS transpilers. * Ci/CD pipeline experience: multi-stage environments, Jenkins/Teamcity, build/deploy in Agile context. * Multi-year experience with server-side languages including Ruby, PHP, etc. * Experience with APIs (RESTful and otherwise) and API integration. * Experience working in an agile fashion. We do speak Agile/Scrum, and we hope you have experience and familiarity with it. * Experience in using/integrating with digital marketing tools and technologies: 3P tags and tag management, SEO/SEM/SEP. * Experience at optimizing e-commerce platform performance, including page-load speeds, conversion rates, etc. Real-world experience working with optimization specialists is a plus. * Familiarity with serverless architecture, microservices, AWS Lambda, etc. will be a plus. * Version control: GitHub, BitBucket, Stash, etc. Essentially we'd like you be very comfortable with the Git protocol set. * Experience with Jira, Confluence and Atlassian tools in general is a plus. * Cloud experience. The focus here is AWS; but Azure, Google Cloud are pluses also. * Experience working with UI/UX teams to convert designs to working software. Experience translating sketch files to layout with precision * Demonstrated communication skills: written, verbal, and at the whiteboard.
